Since childhood, I have treasured books and time spent reading. 

Among my varied collection I have a small stash of very special books. I keep these ones separate, stacked inside a charming basket, tucked neatly under the abundance table in the far left corner of my home, directly beside my Reiki space. A special place for my special books.

Back in the day, I was a one-book-at-a-time kinda gal. Nowadays, I always have a few books on-the-go. Most recently, I’ve been reading what you see here along with Animal Reiki and To Kill A Mockingbird.

The Reiki Touch Kit by William Lee Rand
I received this kit as a Christmas gift 2 years ago, and I love it! It includes a book, cards, and CDs. I love the music and listen to it quite often, although it’s not my standard Reiki music (for that, I use Jonathan Goldman’s Reiki Chants). A great gift for anyone involved in Reiki, especially newbies. 

101 Power Crystals by Judy Hall
One of my first crystal books. Very thorough and practical, it features detailed information about many fantastic stones that I use on a regular basis. 

my Reiki journal
Just an average basic journal for keeping my Reiki notes. It’s getting full and I’ll need a new one soon, but I’ll never get rid of it. This will make for great reading in a few years. 

Animal Speak by Ted Andrews
Now this is a great book. A true classic for those of us interested in animal medicine. I reference this book whenever I encounter a wild animal – from a fox, to a turtle, to a bat, to a dragonfly. Each time, I am beyond impressed with what I read.  

Awakening Loving Kindness by Pema Chodron
This book is slowly changing my life. It’s my first introduction to Pema Chodron and it’s safe to say I am now a fan. I just wish I felt confident pronouncing her name. 

The Crystal Bible by Judy Hall
Another great crystal and gemstone book. This one is less detailed than 101 Power Crystals but features more variety of stones, making it a bit more useful for me.   

Chakra Clearing by Doreen Virtue 
A book and CD combo that I’ve used a few times and enjoy a lot. Everyone loves Doreen Virtue. She has such a great voice for guided meditations. 

Soulful Journals by This Is It! Creations
Fun little journals for tracking my daily gratitude and inspiring love. Recycled paper too!

Tranquility: Pathways to Inner Peace by Anonymous
Another gem of a book. Small but powerful, this little book really spoke to me with its truth and simplicity. Highly recommended.
