In my work as an energy healer and Reiki guide, I regularly encounter people seeking answers to their most burning questions:

• What should I do about my relationship? 
• How can I grow my business without giving up on my other dreams? 
• Why am I struggling with these same issues over and over? 

And so on.

Every once in a while, I connect with someone who has a broader outlook and is seeking generalized guidance for their life path. These people are sometimes skeptical and want to see what I pick up on before giving it all away – which I totally understand. Other times they are just curious to see what comes up before committing to what we’ll address.

Such was the case with Rhiannon. A few months ago we met on Skype for an Intuitive Oracle Card Reading, and since she didn’t have specific questions for me we agreed on a 3-month and 6-month forecast. There was a definite theme running through her cards although it wasn’t something either of us had predicted.  

That’s how intuitive energy healing works: You can be focused on one thing but discover something entirely opposite, and that’s great! Intuitive energy healing is not always logical, and it’s definitely not predictable. Sometimes it can be downright difficult to process. (I can’t tell you the amount of times I’ve pulled a card for myself that I really didn’t want to see. Which likely means it’s exactly what I needed to see.)

Point is – whether you tell me what’s going on or not, it will come up in your reading. It (almost) always does. You may not ask about your childhood or that grief you’re wrestling, but you can be sure at least one (if not all!) of the cards will point to your current issues – whether you’re aware of them or not.

Remember – we’re not the ones steering this ship. What is most important will present itself regardless of our wishes, and what is meant to be, will be.

Perhaps my favourite part of doing intuitive oracle card readings is hearing from clients a little while later, after all the info has sunk in and had a chance to simmer. I guess you could say I enjoy knowing how my reading has impacted their life.

“Three months ago I had an intuitive card reading with Judy Tweal – my first ever (I’m a rational personality type and a natural skeptic).

I launched my business in December and I was leaving for Mexico in March so we covered my year ahead- focusing on my business and also my upcoming trip.

The subject of healing came up 3 times in 3 different cards in our session when we focused on my business:

– Healer: You have the spiritual gift of healing and the desire to share it with others.

– Bodywork: Your life purpose involves bodywork, such as massage therapy, energy healing, physical therapy, or exercise training.

– Rattlesnake: The experiences that you’re presently going through are an initiation into fulfilling your purpose as a healer.

This stumped me and I just couldn’t see the relevance at the time. It didn’t make any sense as I am a brander and marketer, I have no interest or experience with massage, physical therapy or exercise. So we wondered whether it pointed towards the need to focus on looking after myself.

What I did know was that everything else she had pulled out was spot on and the session left me all goose-pimply and warm and fuzzy inside.

Well life has gone on and I had forgotten about these 3 cards until this morning when I returned to her follow-up email and something incredible hit me…

it’s three months later, I am now a brander, marketer AND an energy healer (although not in a traditional sense!).

In the past month I have rebranded following the lessons I learnt through working with my clients in January (which ties right in with the Rattlesnake card) to become a brand and marketing coach for introvert entrepreneurs. A huge part of what I do is helping them to understand and manage their energy in order to thrive quietly in business. I had just never before considered it as a kind of energy healing. Now that I have made it officially part of my process it has all just clicked into place.

Wow! Completely blown away. And all goose-pimply yet again.

Can I get a ‘heck yeah!’?! What an amazing story from Rhiannon that proves no matter how strange it feels in the moment, there is a reason for everything. 

It’s not uncommon to receive messages or intuitions that are difficult to understand or don’t seem to make sense. It happens, even to me. It doesn’t mean it’s ‘wrong’ information or meant for someone else. It just means we don’t understand it yet. But we will.

A huge aspect of doing any kind of intuitive or energy work is having faith in the final outcome. Trusting the Divine to guide us and provide for us whether we currently understand the motions or not. If something isn’t clicking, sit with it. Meditate with it. Think about it. Sleep on it. Trust that you’ll know what you need to know when you need to know it.

As the Beatles once sang, “There’s nowhere you can be that isn’t where you’re meant to be.” No truer words have been spoken.
